Wishlist 2015

I decided that exactly 17 days before Christmas was the optimal time to post my wishlist for this year. You're not totally panicked about what to get me last minute, but since December seems to have dropped in on us already, you're starting to seriously think about your Christmas shopping. Amiright?!

Well I have never had such a difficult time putting together a gift wishlist. Usually it's like, I WANT ALL THE THINGS. But I'm not really that surprised - I literally need nothing at all. I certainly have all of the important intangible things - hubby, kitty, home and health - and I don't even care how cheesy that sounds. Therefore, my list is mainly "fun-to-haves" because presents are just fun in general.

1. Pencil crayons are great, but I really want some Sharpies for my colouring book masterpieces. #adulting

2. Part of the reason that I've been looking forward to colder weather is more baths and my favourite way to take baths is with Lush bath bombs. It's so hard to narrow them down but I really like these ones.

3. I've wanted this IKEA serving set for ages and it's discontinued so brownie points if someone actually gets it for me!

4. One of the year's trends that I can totally get behind is plaid scarves like this one. Of course, I always see people wearing them and can never actually find ones I like in stores...

5. There's nothing more annoying than trying to cook from a recipe in a book or tablet and not having a proper place for it - hello, IKEA book holder!

6. I love puzzles and world maps so this seems like a perfect combo of the two! Like, how cool is this Ravensburger puzzle?!

7. A couple of years ago I got the Naked Basics palette. I absolutely hate it and I don't know if it's me, or the palette. Since then, I've experimented with my sister's endless palette collection and I totally think Naked3 is the one.

8. A black watch is really the only thing missing my from my jewellery box and this one is spectacular. I'm not a fan of bulky watches and this slim profile is so classy. Like me.

9. One of my favourite things to get for Christmas is new PJs and I absolutely heart this pair from Victoria's Secret!

Condo Wishlist

Our housewarming is on Saturday and everyone keeps asking what I want. Honestly, we've already pretty much bought everything we really needed for our place, if we didn't already own it.

Plus, I rarely trust gifts. I know my taste and more often than not, people who don't know me inside & out get me crap I don't want. Sorry, it's true. As impersonal as gift cards are, I'd rather have that than something I will never use (i.e. throw away).

However, there are a few things that would be nice-to-have...

We actually already own a SodaStream. Our second one in fact. But it's not this one, which is beautiful and I want it. I love SodaStream - probably the best invention the world has had in a long time. If you have SodaStream questions, talk to me!

I've wanted a cheese set for forever and the end of forever needs to be now. But I want one with all of the pieces together as one - not just a cutting board and not just the knives. All of them, fitting together as one.

It is no secret that I l.o.v.e. french fries so being able to make them with one tablespoon of oil sounds like absolute heaven! I've heard actual disclaimers for the Acti-fry and  they're all good so it's pretty much a no-brainer. Of course that will result in fries for breakfast, lunch and dinner. #omnomnom

I want to create a gallery wall so naturally I'll need to hit up Michael's for frames and other things. Ideally, I'll be able to take a trip across the border and do some damage at Hobby Lobby but I don't see that happening anytime soon, therefore please fund me.

The knife block is the most practical ask and it came from dC. Obviously. I think he's right though so I threw it in haha

At the end of the day, wine is perfectly fine as well. White, not dry. Go with a riesling or moscato. Yeah, told you I'm picky.

Candle Countdown - One Week!

My birthday is one week away and I'm nowhere near as excited as I usually am. That is bloody scary. This is coming from the girl who would have a week-long birthday marathon & countdown weeks ahead. I don't know, I guess I'm not excited to get old. Mainly because I feel like I've accomplished so much less than I had intended to by the age of 26. But I'm trying to be super excited with planning my night out and all that jazz. Fake it till you make it, right?! Please say yes.

Anyway, this post wasn't meant to be depressing. Onto the important stuff...

A few weeks ago I posted my Wishlist, though I'm sure most of you have left the gift shopping until the last minute. Which is good in this case, because I've got an update.

I recently checked out Bath & Bodyworks & some of their amazing Holiday stuff - love! But what's the point of getting that stuff for Christmas, it's over by then! And no, buying them for myself is not an option. Thank you almost-Christmas birthday!

My big annual day is coming up - that's right, my birthday is just one month away!

I know most of you want to get started on my gifts so here's my list. I actually had a hard time coming up with a list this year because I really truly do not 'need' anything. It's a good thing that this doubles as a Christmas list (because let's face it, that's just over two months away!) so I only have to go through this process once. LOL

Starting the Wish List!

It's November and that means it's my Birthday month!
