In my last Paris Pinterest post, I realized I've only ever pinned pictures of the Eiffel Tower. While that's like, my favourite thing, it doesn't make for a very wholesome trip lol

Paris a la Pinterest

In three weeks I'll be packing for Paris and I cannot describe how much I can't wait! The other day I decided to check my travel board on Pinterest to see if I'd posted anything good about Paris.

This is what I found...

Yes, a lot of Eiffel Tower; definitely what I am most excited about. But I'll probably have to add some things to this Paris collection if I want to see more than one thing! Haha!

Has anyone been to Paris? I would love your tips & recommendations!

Quinoa Recipe - Oh, How Pinteresting!

Who doesn't love a good recipe find? That's right, no one.

I came across this one the other day & was already looking for something to make for dinner so figured I'd give it a try. So worth it!

For quick reference, here's a snapshot of the ingredients:

Here's what I changed:

1. I ended up with more than 2 cups of  quinoa so I added extra sauce and ended up using a whole jar - it's up to your tastes.

2. I replaced heavy cream with sour cream.

3. I couldn't find any fresh basil in the stores I checked so had to skip it.

4. I skipped the crushed red pepper as I'm not a fan & don't have any.

It was delicious & really filling! This is also probably the first recipe where the estimated prep/cook times are actually accurate!

If you really, really need some meat, I think you can easily add cooked cubed chicken breast or sausage. It will also likely last you longer as the meat will make each portion even more filling!

Oh, How Pinteresting! - 7.17

I've become obsessed with cutting my hair.

I've known for a while that 2013 would be the year I chop it all off [again] - even when I did & re-did my ombre - but lately I want to do it sooner rather than later.

Partly because my hair has just become so...limp & lifeless, for lack of a better description. I'm sure it would help if I trimmed it but I refuse to spend $60-70 on hair that I know I'm going to chop off in a few months.

The dilemma - how short?!?!?!?! And why are there so many bob styles?!??!? HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO CHOOSE!?

It is truly torturing me & I would love your thoughts on this! These are only some of the latest ideas, so you can check out the full pinboard here.

A recent conversation with my co-worker [also new to the company] via work communicator:

K: all i want to do is Pinterest the shit out of my 2 screens.....

me: bahaha same...do not remind me though...b/c it WON'T END

K: i need to find a good shot of 'medium cut layered with ombre'

me: i used to do that at lunch...i feel like i used to do a lot of stuff at work lol...like, i didn't spend much time on Pinterest at home..if at all lol

K: exactly! omg #TWP?

me: twp? lol

K: third world problem  :)

me: haha first?

K: ugh...yep

me: that was golden

Let's be clear - not having time for Pinterest at work is definitely a first world problem. LOL
