let's see...Kelsey Grammer can end a 15 yr marriage by phone, Larry King can be
on divorce #9, Britney Spears had a 55 hour marriage, Jesse James and Tiger
Woods - while married - were having sex with EVERYONE, 53% of Americans get
divorced and 30-60% cheat on their spouses. Yet, same-sex marriage is going to
destroy the institution of marriage? Really?
I’m not really going to comment because it’s
self-explanatory. However, I still struggle to understand why people care so
much about controlling others’ actions when they have no affect one your own
life.
Is restricting gay marriage going to dissolve the
GLBT community? Umm, no. All you’re really doing is restricting them from
supporting the economy with outrageous wedding spending. And you know, all that marriage happiness.
This is an excellent lead in to what is becoming my
theme of the past week - Gaga’s Born This Way.

I was one ridiculously lucky duck to get to go to Lady Gaga's Monster Ball in Toronto the other day. The show was A-freaking-MAZING! Gaga is an incredible performer & is so so good to her fans [minus having to wait for her for far too long]!
So ready for Gaga to finally come out...1.5hrs later! [I'm still wearing my purple 'bracelet' lol]
So amazing when she did come out though! [wearing my fave colour no less! how'd she know!?]
Maria did a cover of Gaga's new single "Born This Way" on Youtube, which grabbed the attention of my local radio station who connected Maria with Gaga on the phone & Gaga being the awesome Lady Monster that she is, invited her to join her at the show. Check out Maria's claim to fame here.

Well I haven't yet, but I will be GOING (to see) Gaga...this Thursday!!! One of my best friends from high school had someone back out last minute so guess who gets the extra ticket! ME, ME, ME!
This is going to be absolutely amazing. For various reasons.
1. We both love Lady Gaga.
2. We both love to rock out in public.
3. Really, we're just awesome & together we build upon our mutual awesomeness :)
Alan & I have been friends since grade 9...that's over 10 years! We drifted & barely spoke in university, but since I've moved to the city, where he's been living for nearly 2 years now, we managed to pretty much pick up where we left off :)
