Chicago, Day 3

Check back for Day 1, Day 2 and the Zoo.

The weather in Chicago just kept getting more and more gorgeous as the days passed and Day 3 was down right perfect! Chicago locals said they only get about six of these days and we hit about three of them so talk about getting luckyyyyyy! Not like that, mind out of the gutter.

The day started out with the most delicous breakfast ever at Wildberry Cafe. If you're in Chicago, you must go there!
Pancakes with berries & mascarpone
Banana bread french toast

The big thing today was the Chicago River Architecture Tour.
Since it's going to get its own post, I will just give you a couple of teasers. It was amazing.

Afterwards we strolled through Navy Pier and took in the weather & fantastic views.
It's a good look, right?

I'm so jealous that locals have this amazing harbourfront to enjoy in the summer time, it's spectacular!

The touristing of the day ended with the Skydeck at the Willis Tower (formerly Sears Tower) where we had amazing 360 degree views of the entire city.

Someone was a bit weary to step over the edge...

Stay tuned for the River Tour!

  1. Yeah I doubt I would step over the edge too lol I can barely do it at the CN Tower. Pretty sure I stood on the glass floor for about 1.2seconds and then ran off.

Thanks for stopping by! I love reading & responding to all your comments!
